Getting started
- How long does implementation take?
- Most distributors are live on their first dashboards within two to four weeks, depending on how many systems we connect and how clean the source data is.
- Can we start with just AR aging?
- Yes. Many teams start with receivables, prove the value with their finance group, then add sales, open orders and inventory modules one at a time.
- What do you need from our team to begin?
- A read-only connection to your ERP, a short call with whoever owns the reporting today, and one example of the report that takes the longest to produce each week.
- Is there a long-term commitment to see a demo?
- No. The first walkthrough is a 45-minute session against real data structures, with no contract and no obligation to continue.
02
Data & systems
- Do you need write access to our ERP?
- No. Data iQ reads from your systems. Nothing is written back and nothing is changed in your source of record.
- How often does the data refresh?
- Standard deployments sync on a nightly schedule, with intraday refreshes available for receivables and open orders where teams need same-day visibility.
- What if our data is messy or spread across systems?
- That is the normal starting point. The data audit maps and reconciles your tables before dashboards go live, so mismatched customer or item records surface early rather than in a board meeting.
- Can we export to Excel?
- Every grid and chart exports to Excel or CSV, so finance keeps the workflows it already trusts while working from a single reconciled source.
03
Security & access
- Who can see which numbers?
- Access is scoped by role and territory, so a regional sales manager sees their own book while finance leadership sees the consolidated position.
- How is our data protected?
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, connections are read-only, and access is logged. Details of our handling practices are in the privacy policy.
- Can we limit access to receivables data?
- Yes. AR aging and credit exposure views can be restricted to finance roles only, separate from the sales and operations modules.
04
Support
- Who supports us after go-live?
- The same implementation team stays with your account. You are not handed to a generic ticket queue after launch.
- Can you build dashboards specific to our business?
- Yes. The shipped AR, sales, orders and inventory models cover most distribution reporting, and we extend them with the measures your team actually reviews.
- How do we get help day to day?
- Email info@dataiqnow.com and you will hear back within one business day, usually much sooner.
